Your license to use ClipBasin
ClipBasin from the Microsoft Store is licensed to you under the Microsoft Standard Application License Terms (the last section of the Microsoft Services Agreement). Blue Basin Systems, L.L.C. is the application publisher named in those terms. They describe what you may do with ClipBasin, and they take priority over anything on this page about the app.
You can try ClipBasin free for 15 days before buying it. Your purchase includes the updates to ClipBasin 1 that we release. A future major version may be sold separately.
Support
We provide support for ClipBasin, not Microsoft. See Support for how to reach us.
Open-source software in ClipBasin
ClipBasin includes open-source components, each under its own license:
- Python, with the libraries it includes on Windows (Tcl/Tk, OpenSSL, libffi, expat, zlib, bzip2, xz, mpdecimal) and the Microsoft Visual C++ runtime: Python Software Foundation License 2.
- typing_extensions: Python Software Foundation License 2.
- pywinrt: MIT License.
- The PyInstaller bootloader: GNU GPL 2 or later, with the PyInstaller bootloader exception.
Those licenses apply to those components only, not to ClipBasin itself. Their full text is in the app: open the menu, choose About ClipBasin, then Open-source licenses.
